Quite simply this hurt, I'm aware that I don't stand an ice cube in hell's chance of winning and that I have lost count of the hours spent on it but I as soon as this contest was announced this idea popped up and wouldn't leave me the fuck alone. I know, its kind of silly, but enjoy!

And... Commissions are closed again. I don't like taking on too many in one go as my waiting list tends to get crazy and I get burnt out. I hope to re-open again a lot sooner than last time though, hopefully early to  mid way through next month!

And have a sneak peak at what's next on that list, I am a good way into coloring this but as the commissioner wanted it keeping a surprise I thought I wouldn't upload my rough color palette version here like I usually do and spoil it for her.

Lineart commission of Sli from the movie 'Species'.
This was a nice change of pace for me and a lot of fun.

When this launched I had a couple of ideas of what I wanted to submit, to say it really fucking inspired me is to put it mildly, however time is proving hard to come by, but this idea refuses to leave me alone.
There's two versions here, the first is the original idea but I found the composition pretty bland so I tried another angle on the idea.

What the fuck? Where did this come from?
A few mythologies from around the world have the mythos of the 'star wives', women would would marry and mate with the stars and the children of these unions would command power, ususaly becoming shamans and wise healers.
Some of these stories are genuinely very sensual and romantic, which is what I wanted to capture here.
Also I've been watching the 'Ancient Alien' series on the History Channel. :B

Oh yeah, the other girl is a worgen, a guildmate thought that would be hawt. It was their idea and that's the excuse I'm sticking to.
